Program
Early pick up from your hotel in Cusco to start the day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Travelling to the valley we have beautiful views with cultivated fields and snow capped mountains. We visit the inca ruins and market of Pisac and then travel through the beautiful Urubamba valley with terraced fields and typical villages. We have a stop for lunch and in the afternoon we have a guided tour of the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Afterwards we have time to look around town and see handicrafts at the Plaza of Ollantaytambo. Then, we take the afternoon train to Aguas Calientes (2000 m), reception and transfer to the Hostal in Aguas Calientes (dwb).
Early in the morning we start walking up on the footpath through cloud forest (1 h 15 min) or we can take the bus to drive up (25 min., from 5:30 am) to visit Machu Picchu. The site opens at 6 am (but entrance tickets have different times). We start with a guided tour (2.5 h), afterwards free time to discover on our own. It is possible to climb the Wayna Picchu mountain (advance booking required), walk to the Inca Bridge or just explore and enjoy the views. In the afternoon we return to Aguas Calientes town (on our own) and take the return train, transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Program
Arrival in Cusco, the old Inca capital, and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon we have a short briefing for your tour, the rest of the day is free to have a first look around Cusco (3400 m).
After breakfast we start our day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We visit the ruins and market of Pisac and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Afterwards we have time to have lunch and to see the handicraft stands at the Plaza of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon we take the train to Aguas Calientes (2000 m), reception and transfer to your hostal.

Program
We pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am to drive to the port from where we leave at 8 am. After a 40 minute boat ride we reach the floating Uros Islands where we have a 45 minute stop for a visit. Afterwards we continue to Amantani Island, arriving at the Island for lunch. We are accommodated in family houses (basic) and explore part of the island with our guide. In the evening there is a traditional ceremony for the Mother Earth (Pachamama), later we have dinner.
After breakfast we leave at 8 am for the one hour boat journey to Taquile Island, famous for its knitting men. From the port we climb up the steps to the main village. We have about 4 hours at Taquile to visit the island and enjoy the scenery. We may also see some local handicrafts. After lunch we return to Puno where we arrive around 5 pm and take our transfer to the hotel.
